Getting started

What is Apyee Vault?

Apyee Vault is a non-custodial ERC-4626 vault that auto-balances USDC across major lending markets (Aave V3, Compound V3, Morpho, Spark, Fluid) on 4 chains. You deposit once; the Keeper allocates and rebalances for you.

How do I deposit?

Connect a wallet, pick a chain on the Deposit page, approve USDC, then deposit. You receive apUSDC share tokens that represent your slice of the vault. You can withdraw anytime, no lock-up.

Which chains and tokens are supported?

Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain — USDC only. (BSC uses BSC-USD which we treat as USDC-equivalent.) A per-address deposit cap applies while TVL grows — see the Deposit page for the current value.

What is apUSDC?

apUSDC is the vault share token you receive when you deposit. It is not 1:1 with USDC — one apUSDC grows in value as yield compounds into the share price. The USD value of your position is what you actually hold.

Do I need to do anything after depositing?

No. The Keeper rebalances every 5 minutes when conditions justify gas costs and harvests yields ~daily. You can come back to check, deposit more, or withdraw whenever you want.

Vault mechanics & yield

How does auto-rebalancing work?

Every 5 minutes the Keeper compares APYs across all strategies on the chain. If the spread is wide enough (≥10 bps) and gas costs are economical (gas ROI ≥ 3×), it moves capital to the higher-yielding strategy. A 10% idle buffer is kept for instant withdrawals.

How does Apyee pick strategies?

By APY weighted across the available strategies. A strategy paying 6% gets roughly twice the allocation weight of one paying 3%. We cap any single strategy at 40% so a single protocol never holds the whole portfolio.

How often does harvest happen?

Approximately once per day per chain, when expected yield collected exceeds gas cost by 3×. Yield is compounded into the share price (Model C) — your apUSDC stays the same, its value rises.

What APY can I expect?

It varies by chain and market conditions. The Deposit and Portfolio pages show the live 30-day weighted APY for each chain. Past performance does not guarantee future returns.

Fees

What does the 15% performance fee apply to?

Only profits. The principal you deposited is never touched. The fee is deducted via share-price at the next Keeper harvest (≈ daily). There is no deposit fee and no withdrawal fee.

How is the fee actually collected?

Model C — at harvest, 15% of the realized yield is minted as new apUSDC shares to the protocol treasury. This dilutes everyone's share value by exactly 15% of profit, so the fee is shared proportionally without on-chain user transactions.

Are gas fees included?

Keeper gas costs (rebalance + harvest) are paid by the protocol and are not deducted from your position. You only pay gas for your own deposit and withdraw transactions.

Risk & safety

Are smart contracts audited?

Yes. The V2 Vault contracts are audited by Soken — a PASS at 91/100 (tag v2.1.3). The audit began at 55/100 with 16 findings including 1 Critical, and every one was published and fixed. Full reports are on the Security page. An audit lowers risk but does not remove it; a per-address deposit cap applies while TVL grows.

What is a risk grade A / B / C?

Each underlying lending market gets a grade based on TVL, audit history, operating years, and exploit record. A = battle-tested (Aave, Compound), B = newer or had non-critical incidents, C = filtered out by default. See the Risk Grades article in Learn for details.

What if one of the underlying protocols is hacked?

An automatic Emergency Withdraw path triggers when any of: (1) a security firm flags the protocol, (2) protocol is paused, (3) two or more risk signals fire within 10 minutes (depeg / TVL drop / abnormal borrow / gas spike). Funds are pulled to idle and remain withdrawable.

Is Apyee custodial?

No. Funds live in the Vault smart contract. Only you can withdraw your apUSDC. There is no centralized custodian and no admin can move user funds.

Withdrawals

How long does a withdraw take?

Instant if the vault's idle buffer covers your amount (~10% of total kept in idle for this). Larger withdraws trigger Pattern B auto-pull from strategies, still completing in one transaction on most chains.

Are there withdrawal fees?

No. The 15% performance fee on profits is taken at harvest via share-price, not at withdraw. What you see as your current value is what you can pull.

Wallet & alerts

Which wallets are supported?

MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect-compatible wallets, and Coinbase Smart Wallet via Reown AppKit. You sign once to authenticate (no transaction, no gas), then deposit/withdraw normally.

Why do I need to sign a message?

Sign-In With Ethereum (EIP-4361) proves you control the wallet, so we can bind a session to your address. Signing does not move any funds and costs no gas.

How do I receive Telegram alerts?

Go to Vault Settings → Connect Telegram. The bot opens with a one-time link valid for 10 minutes. After linking you get DMs for rebalance, position APY shifts, emergency actions, and pause events. You can toggle each category on/off in Settings.
