Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Apyee (“we”, “us”, “the Project”) operates the website at apyee.com and the related Apyee Vault smart contracts. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is handled.
Questions: [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Wallet address. When you connect a wallet, we read your public address. We do not store private keys or seed phrases — there is no way for us to access your funds.
- On-chain transactions. Public blockchain data we observe for your wallet (deposits, withdrawals, vault share balance, transaction hashes) is shown back to you and may be cached on our servers to improve performance.
- Telegram username. Only if you opt in to alerts. We store the Telegram chat ID linked to your wallet address. You can unlink at any time from /vault/settings.
- Email. If you opt in to email reports (Phase 2 feature). Used solely for sending the reports you subscribed to.
- Usage analytics. Page views, device type, country, and aggregate session data via Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Used to understand product usage in aggregate. No individual profiling tied to your wallet.
- Technical logs. IP address, request timestamps, user agent. Retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
3. What we don't collect
- Private keys, seed phrases, or any wallet credentials.
- KYC information (we do not currently run KYC).
- Off-chain personally identifiable information beyond what you voluntarily provide (Telegram username, email).
4. How we use information
- Show you your portfolio, history, and APY metrics.
- Send alerts you opted in to (rebalance, APY change, emergency actions).
- Detect abuse, debug issues, and improve performance.
- Measure product usage in aggregate (analytics).
5. Third parties we share with
We minimize data sharing. The following third parties may process data on our behalf or alongside our service:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage telemetry. You can opt out via your browser settings or by blocking third-party cookies.
- DefiLlama — public yield and protocol data is fetched from defillama.com. No personal data sent.
- RPC providers (Alchemy, NodeReal, public endpoints) — your wallet address may be visible to the node serving your read/write requests, which is standard for any Web3 dApp.
- Telegram — if you opt in to alerts, messages route through the Telegram platform under its own privacy terms.
- Vercel — hosting and edge CDN. Standard request logs.
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage for:
- Necessary — wallet session, theme preference. Cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
- Analytics — GA4 cookies for aggregate usage measurement. You may block these via your browser or extensions.
7. Retention
- Wallet-linked alert preferences: until you unlink.
- Analytics events: retained per Google's default GA4 settings.
- Technical logs: typically 14–30 days.
- Cached on-chain data: refreshed continuously; no long-term retention beyond what is publicly on-chain.
8. Your choices
- Disconnect your wallet at any time.
- Unlink Telegram alerts from settings.
- Block analytics cookies in your browser.
- Request information about data we hold against your wallet/email by writing to [email protected].
9. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect our infrastructure (encrypted transport, access controls, secret management for keeper keys). However, smart contracts and blockchain networks carry inherent risk that no security policy can fully eliminate. See our Terms of Service for risk disclosures.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Apyee after a change means you accept the updated policy.
